Summary of Information Prepared by Think Renewables Group
for the
2026 Nigeria Diaspora Economic Conference (NiDEC) in Ontario, Canada
1) A breakthrough cooling technology by Enersion that can cool a building with less than 7% of a typical air conditioning system. Given below is a short video about how Enersion’s cooling technology (nano-porous material) can be combined with hybrid solar panels to cool a building:
Video: Enersion’s Energy Cubed (The hybrid solar panels can provide building heating and hot water for bathrooms and kitchens).
.
Our partner in Nigeria is Dr. Paul Abolo, President and founder of Ecologistics Integrated Services). We applied for funding to install a cooling system at a hospital in Abuja, Nigeria.
.
2) The second breakthrough technology (by Kula Bio) is a bio-fertilizer that produces nitrogen fertilizer via bacteria. A Nigerian company called Babban Gona, has completed some successful trials in Nigeria using this technology and plans to do more. They are helping small farmers grow more food.
.
3) Think Renewables Group, which is owned by Paul Stevers, co-founded an alliance for food security action in Africa with Dr. Paul Abolo. To view the website of this alliance, visit: Alliance for Food Security Action in Africa (AFSAA). We recently created this video: Increasing Funding for Food Security and Climate Action in Africa (climatesan.org/fsca ).

5) We have a non-profit initiative to convert used computers into educational information servers. To view information about it, visit: Webpage about CharityHelp’s Expanding Free Access to Offline Educational Resources Initiative. Microsoft is requiring their customers to upgrade to Windows 11, but many computers cannot do so since many of them do not have the needed security chip. As a result, hundreds of millions of computers are obsolete now and can be converted into educational information servers.
