
Dr. Leif Rosenberger, Co-Founder, ClimateSAN and Director of Education, Economics & Security, Think Renewables Group
Dr Rosenberger is also a Director at Think Renewables Group in Toronto. He’s the Chief Economist at ACERTAS, the Director of Global Economics at the Economic Innovation Institute for Africa, and an Emerging Market Economist for Jim Cramer’s The Street. He is a Visiting Scholar in the Modern War Institute at West Point and an Adjunct Professor of International Political Economy in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. He’s published twelve books and sixty articles.
Dr. Rosenberger retired from the US government in March 2016 after a thirty-five-year career in the U.S. national security community. He was a Full Professor of Economics at the U.S. Army War College, where he held the General Douglas MacArthur Academic Chair of Research in the Strategic Studies Institute. He was the Chief Economist at PACOM and CENTCOM and a Task Force Commander at CENTCOM. He was a Visiting Scholar on the Economic Faculty at Harvard. He taught International Business at the University of Hawaii and Political Science and Economics at Dickinson College and Providence College. He holds a BA with honors from Harvard, a masters from Boston University and a PhD in International Relations from Claremont Graduate University.
